Noticed: Notebook & iPad hacks. I first noticed this girl in my seminar propping up her iPad on her pencil case, so she could see it better. Then I noticed the same thing (propped up with a leg) with the notebook in front of it.

I had a request for more noticings, so I’m starting back up again. Caught this outside the dorm room of some freshmen. Roll outs are a college tradition whereby, upon making it into a student group (sororities, capella groups, etc.) the entire team comes to the new member’s dorm to inform them… usually at some point before 6 in the morning. These girls stated their non-preference for roll outs… on the leftover packaging of a kitchen knife.

Planes & Art

I caught these shots of some hobbyists’ airplanes I noticed the other day. They’re both exceedingly beautiful, and they got me thinking about the way in which our hobbies turn us into creatives, even if we don’t consider ourselves artists. In what ways do we find space to express ourselves in seemingly mundane spaces?
