There’s something so beauitful about this watch, Louis Vuitton’s Tambour Mystérieuse. Extravagant and luxurious, but in simple, modern ways. The ‘movement’ - the part of the watch that does the actual ‘ticking’ - is one of the few movements manufactured in-house by luxury brands (movements are apparently expensive and difficult to make). Not only that, it seems to levitate in the middle of the watch. I also like how it gently nods to the brand, without overemphasizing: the simple LV flower on the movement, and it comes in a miniature LV trunk. Never mind that I don’t know anyone besides my dad who wears a watch, that this one costs $265,000 and it takes a year to build, there’s just something appealing about it (via Men’s Style).
