5 Intelligent Tumblrs Version 2.0
So almost a year ago, I did a post on 5 Intelligent Tumblrs. Just the other day, Michael Hoy commented on this post. I’m a pretty suggestible person, and thus, I have decided to do a reprise. I won’t bore you with mentioning the past very intelligent, fascinating tumblogs (though Ben has a new design research tumblog), but give you a few more to check out. I swear, in this land of kittehs and bokeh, we can find something interesting yet. ;)
- Bobulate
The tumblog of Liz, who practices and teaches design. Liz’s thoughts don’t always come from design, but they certainly encapsulate a designer’s mindset. I find myself constantly impressed by her little findings, but also her thoughts on those findings. - The Gong Show
This is the tumblog of Andrew Parker, who works in VC and loves to post on all things VC and tech. If you’re interested in that kind of stuff, it’s definitely fascinating to read. In true tumblr style, he calls attention to fascinating little things that happen too, not just big things. - 52 Weeks of UX
If you wanted to learn about user experience design, starting by reading Joshua and Joshua’s tumblog about UX would be a great place to start. It seems the plan is to write two articles on UX design for a year (52 weeks). The pieces range from things that are more technical, and things that are more about the way designers think. - Inspired by Design
This is the tumblog of Jonathan, who works with companies on fostering innovation. Follow along to learn more about developing innovation, design, organizations, and business thinking. - Alex Campbell’s Tumblr
Alex is a strategic planner at a digital agency/marketing firm. He’s kind enough to share his views and thoughts on marketing, branding, and creativity.
And for those still searching for that perfect tumblr, I’ll point you in the direction of my Stanford peers, Doug Tarlow and chotipiyari. And of course, the inspiration for this post, Michael has a wonderful, curiousity-filled tumblr as well!
