Search By Sight With Google Goggles
I think this is really interesting. One thing I’ve noticed sort of slowly encroaching on my life is the use of photos as memories and reminders - I grab a shot of a book I want to read, or the location I parked my car. This could be an interesting way to supplement this service with a photo.
Another couple things I notice in this video: I like how Google comes right out and says, here’s what will work and here’s what won’t. Be patient because we’re working on making it better. Like Beta labs, its a good way to teach people patience and make people’s expectations part of your growth, not an impediment to success. Also, yay for Google for highlighting their engineers and actual employees, not just some actor-spokesman. It’s part of their image for me - just a bunch of programmers seeing what they can make that’s cool.
